1. Introduction
FundPlatter ("we," "our," or "us") is a portfolio optimization application powered by Mean-Variance Optimization (MVO) and Risk Parity models, developed by Appbridge. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the FundPlatter mobile application (the "App").
By using FundPlatter, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Email address, username, password (stored in encrypted form)
- Investment Style Survey: Risk tolerance responses, investment horizon, financial goals, investment experience level
- Portfolio Data: Selected ETFs, target asset allocations, custom portfolio configurations
- ETF Watchlists: Saved ETFs and watchlist configurations
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Portfolio Analysis Data: Optimization results (Sharpe ratio, expected return, volatility), backtesting configurations and results, rebalancing calculations
- ETF Research Data: ETFs viewed and searched, market data accessed, analysis filters and preferences
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, timezone
- Usage Information: App interactions, features used, search queries, time spent on analysis screens
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Google/Apple Sign-In: Account email, display name, profile picture
- Apple/Google: Subscription purchase receipts for verification
2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect actual brokerage account information
- We do NOT collect real portfolio holdings or transaction data from external accounts
- We do NOT collect bank account or credit card numbers
- We do NOT have access to your actual investments
3. How We Use Your Information
- Run MVO and Risk Parity optimization calculations on your selected ETFs
- Generate personalized portfolio allocation recommendations based on your investment style survey
- Perform backtesting analysis using historical market data
- Calculate rebalancing guides comparing current vs. target weights
- Provide ETF search and filtering across 900+ Korean ETFs
- Save and manage your watchlists and portfolio configurations
- Process subscription purchases
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
- Communicate updates and respond to support requests
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or financial data to third parties.
4.1 Service Providers
- Cloud hosting providers for database and computation services
- Market data providers for ETF pricing and historical data
- Google/Apple for authentication and payment verification
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law.
5. Data Security
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure password hashing
- Token-based authentication
- Investment survey results stored securely on our servers
- No storage of actual financial account credentials
6. Data Retention
Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Portfolio and Survey Data: Retained while your account is active. You can reset your investment style survey or delete portfolios at any time.
Analysis Results: Optimization and backtesting results are generated on-demand and not permanently stored unless saved by you.
7. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your personal information
- Correction: Update your profile, retake your investment style survey
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt-Out: Disable notifications, reset preferences

8. Children’s Privacy
FundPlatter is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
